9-11 Memorial Program

The Skokie Masonic Center and Chicago Lodge have an annual 9-11 Memorial program honoring first responders at
which checks are presented to the Skokie Police and Fire Department benevlolence funds. Because 9-11 fell on
a Sunday this year, we had an open house with char broiled hot dogs and hamburgers. There was also an IL-CHIP
event run in conjunction with the program. Pictures of Acacia, a service dog in training paid for by the Center, were
posted and two therapy dogs were available for petting. Several sea scouts based in Skokie were present to assist.
